The author, director and ex-journalist turned out to be a drummer since his days in Mozaik (1988 - '91). He wrote the musical "Theeeere is a town in the distance". In the Ayse Tütüncü Piano Percussion Ensemble, he was responsible for some of the more "rocky" accents. He played on the group's Variations album and quit the band in 2002. In January 2006 he shot the performance video of Carnivalesque for the Ayse Tütüncü Trio.
