Gürer is a reminder of faraway times and places when music and dance were one. Before joining Mozaik as a singer and percussionist he spent years on folkmusic and folkdance, and was a stage actor as well as a percussionist. His percussion instruments mainly include the larger ones like davul, bendir, bass-toms and handdrums, besides his beloved quica and cow- and sheepbells.... Since 1995 he has played with the Ayse Tütüncü Piano Percussion Ensemble.
