As a graduate of the Musicians Institute, Los Angeles City College and Berklee College of Music, Cengiz Baysal taught in Los Angeles at the Musicians Ins. (1998-1999) and was an Advisory Board member at L.A. City College. He worked with Ron Affif, Aydin Esen, Sam Riney, Bruce Eschowits, Okay Temiz, Emin Findikoglu, Tuna Ötenel, Bobby Lee Rodgers, J. B. Eckl, Audio Fact Group, Tiger Okoshi and... Baysal now teaches in Istanbul at the Bilgi University Department of Music and plays with Pasaporte Latino, Kerem Görsev, Cengiz Baysal Quartet and Oguz Büyükberber. From 2002 to date Cengiz has performed on the drums with the Ayse Tütüncü Piano Percussion Ensemble.
